The Hair Design license is a continuation of the barbering program with the addition of chemical applications such as color. Students with a Hair Design license will be able to perform all of the tasks of a licensed barber such as hairstyling along with chemical services.
Grey blending, blond highlights, permanent wave, thermal styling and color treatments are a few of the main skills taught in the Hair Design Program.
Barbering allows one to be extremely skilled in the art of cutting and styling hair. Now individuals can be skilled in cutting hair while gaining the ability to touch up that gray hair or add some color without having to obtain a full cosmetology license.
Not only will students have world class training in barbering, but students will learn different types of chemical services such as color and relaxants to address the growing needs of their clients.
