Barber School Admission Requirements
In order to be accepted to The Barber School, students must possess one of the following:
- High school diploma
- GED certificate
- State issued credential for secondary school completion if home schooled
Barber School Registration Process
Students must submit a completed application with a $50 non-refundable application fee to The Barber School for review. Click here to register.
Classes will be filled on a first come first serve basis. The Barber School holds to the standard of NO discrimination in admission, instruction, and graduation policies on basis of race, ethic origin, age, sex, religion, and financial status.
Once applicants have been approved, potential students must complete the registration form prior to attending class.
The Barber School Evening Classes
At The Barber School, we understand that many of our students have busy schedules and may be unable to attend classes during traditional daytime hours. That’s why we offer evening classes to accommodate students who need more flexible schedules. Our evening classes are taught by the same experienced Master Barber instructors as our daytime classes, ensuring you receive the same high-quality education and training.

Hours Required for Barber Program
The Barber School Utah requires 1,000 hours to graduate. The full time program can be completed in 6 months. Part time will take up to a year.
If you are looking to obtain a license for a different state, the required hours may vary. The Barber School can provide hours that will be accepted for different states.
