Barbering offers tremendous earning potential, but a license in Hair Design offers an even greater opportunity. What is the Hair Design Program?
The Hair Design Program is a continuation of the Barber Program with the addition of chemical applications. As with the Barber Program, the focus of student learning is aimed towards male clientele.
Gray blending, blonde highlights, permanent waves, thermal styling, and other color treatments are just a few of the main skills taught as part of the Hair Design Program.
Barbering focuses on the art of cutting hair, and Hair Design focuses on those same skills while adding the ability to touch up that gray hair or add some color without having to obtain a full Cosmetology License.
Barbering allows one to be extremely skilled in the art of cutting hair. Now individuals can be skilled in cutting hair while gaining the ability to touch up that gray hair or add some color without having to obtain a full cosmetology license.
Not only will students have world class training in barbering, but students will learn different types of chemical services such as color and relaxants to address the growing needs of their clients.
